The Turkish Stars (“Türk Yıldızları”) is the national aerobatic team of Turkey, affiliated with the Turkish Air Force. Established in 1992, the Turkish Stars have earned global recognition and attract significant attention for their impressive performances.
The team is unique in that it performs with NF-5A/B Freedom Fighter jets, making it one of the few aerobatic teams in the world to do so. The Turkish Stars conducted their first official demonstration in 1993, and since then, they have participated in numerous national and international events.
In 2001, the Turkish Stars achieved a world record by performing in Baku, Azerbaijan, before an audience of approximately one million people, marking the largest crowd ever to watch an aerobatic display team.
Known for their high-speed maneuvers and complex formations, the Turkish Stars showcase the skills and bravery of the Turkish Air Force. Their performances significantly contribute to Turkey’s national pride and international prestige.
