Gabya Class TCG-Gemlik: The Silent Power of the Blue Homeland

Gabya Class TCG-Gemlik is one of the modern and versatile warships of the Turkish Naval Forces. Formerly known as USS Flatley (FFG-21), this Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate was transferred to Turkey and later modernized with indigenous systems to become part of the Gabya class.

TCG Gemlik (F-492) is equipped with the GENESIS Combat Management System, advanced sonar and radar systems, electronic warfare capabilities, and medium-range air defense missiles. Thanks to this technological arsenal, it performs with high efficiency in both peacetime patrol missions and wartime operations.

From NATO missions to strategic activities in the Eastern Mediterranean, Gabya Class TCG-Gemlik actively contributes to strengthening the deterrence and naval power of the Turkish Naval Forces.
