F-100D 111 Panther SQ – Turkish Air Force Super Sabre Decal Set

The F-100D 111 Panther SQ decal set by Babibimodel brings one of the most distinctive aircraft markings of the Turkish Air Force to scale model enthusiasts. Featuring the famous Panther Squadron insignia, this set offers an opportunity to recreate an iconic North American F-100D Super Sabre from the early jet era of Turkish military aviation.

The North American F-100D Super Sabre played an important role in the modernization of the Turkish Air Force during the Cold War. Introduced into Turkish service in 1958, the F-100 became the country’s first supersonic fighter aircraft. Its powerful Pratt & Whitney J57 engine, swept wings, and versatile fighter-bomber capabilities made it an essential part of Turkish air operations for nearly three decades.

The 111th Squadron, known as “Panter Filo” (Panther Squadron), was among the first Turkish Air Force units to operate the F-100D. Based at Eskişehir Air Base, the squadron developed a distinctive identity through its striking panther emblem and recognizable aircraft markings. These features made its Super Sabres particularly memorable among aviation enthusiasts and military aircraft historians.

The F-100D 111 Panther SQ decal set is designed to reproduce the characteristic markings of these legendary aircraft, bringing historical authenticity and visual appeal to model-building projects.

Babibimodel decals are produced with attention to fine details, accurate colors, and sharp printing quality. For optimal application, a smooth gloss surface is recommended before placing the decals. Microsol and Microset can be used to improve adhesion and help the decals conform naturally to recessed panel lines and curved surfaces.

With its distinctive squadron heritage and classic Super Sabre appearance, this decal set is an excellent addition to any Turkish Air Force aircraft collection.
