One of the F-4E Terminator (TM) model fighter jets in the Turkish Air Force’s inventory caught attention with a special tail paint scheme in honor of NATO’s 70th anniversary. This unique design, implemented in 2019, both commemorated the Turkish Air Force’s historical role within the NATO alliance and celebrated the anniversary of NATO’s founding. The tail of the jet featured the blue and white colors of NATO, along with the alliance’s star emblem.
