The AB-205 is a licensed version of the Bell UH-1 Huey helicopter, produced by the Italian company Agusta. The Turkish Land Forces inducted this helicopter into their inventory in the late 1960s and utilized it for various purposes. The AB-205 has been effectively used in personnel and cargo transport, medical evacuation, and reconnaissance missions. It participated in significant operations such as the Cyprus Peace Operation (1974). Nowadays, although it has begun to be replaced by more modern models, the AB-205 is still used in certain missions.
